SBA Loan Deadline: April 20
April 20 is the deadline for any nonprofit organizations in Tennessee to submit Economic Injury Disaster Loan applications to the U.S. Small Business Administration. The loans are being made available because of severe weather that struck between June 18 and 24, 2011.
The SBA offers these loans to help nonprofit agencies meet operating expenses, regardless of whether their buildings were damaged by high winds or flooding. Loan amounts can be up to $2 million with 3 percent interest. Loan terms can extend to 30 years. Examples of eligible, non-critical organizations are soup kitchens, homeless shelters, museums. libraries, community centers, and colleges.
To apply for an SBA loan, call 800-659-2955 or e-mail email@example.com. Applications also are available at www.sba.gov. Once filled out, they should be mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
