All nominations are due by midnight December 31st, 2012, and winners will be announced at the CEO of the Year breakfast on February 20th, 2013. One winner will be chosen for each of these categories. 12/11/12Leadership Memphis Pairs with Healthy Memphis Common Table to Fight Obesity in Shelby CountyOver 500 Leadership Memphis alumni, corporate sponsors, and community partners enjoyed their holiday party on December 4th. The event, held at the Mercedes-Benz of Memphis Showroom, had the usual trappings of a traditional company party, but the menu was decidedly unique. Leadership Memphis recently became a participant in the Healthy Memphis Common Table’s Million Calorie Reduction Match (MCRM) project, and the menu was a direct result of the pairing. Catered by food trucks featuring a selection of healthy options, guests were able to make more informed choices about food by viewing the caloric value of each item being served.
